Basic terms

Our local guide will meet you at the assigned meeting point.

We kindly ask you to please read each tour description carefully, to understand what is included, transportation, meeting point and entry fees involved.

Please, arrive early and don’t be late, so that departure times are exact. This is very important to be able to manage the day in a time-effective way.

All of our tours are open to a maximum number of guests per group. The exact size of the group tour is provided on the tour description page.

All of our tours are private and for individual parties only.

All tours need to be pre-reserved with 25% of the total price, because all of ours tours are private, our van is unique and we need to know which guests are really committed to take a tour. This is the only way to guarantee that the van is vacant for you and a private driver or guide is available when you arrive. We cannot guarantee tours that don’t have reservations made in advance.

The rest of the payment must be paid directly to your driver or guide at the day of your tour.

Changes and Delays

If you have booked a tour and want to make changes to it after the booking, please, contact us to see if this is possible. Also, please, have in mind that this might mean an extra fee to what you have already paid.

If you are more than 15 minutes late to meet your tour guide at the pickup point, please, give us a call and let us know. If you are late for over 30 minutes without notifying us, your tour guide might leave and no refunds will be made.

Cancellations and refunds

Any tour can be cancelled until 72 hours prior to its date. In this case, we will give you a complete refund of what you have paid.

If you cancel less than 72 hours prior to the tour, or if you are a no-show, we won’t make any refunds of the total paid.

If a tour is cancelled by any reason by either party, Epic Tale Lisbon cannot be held responsible for losses related to transportation, accommodation, food, or travel expenses sustained by guests, their agents, representatives, or associates.

We will NOT hold guests responsible for last minute cancellations with documented proof due to a situation out of their control, such as flight delays, strikes or extreme weather conditions. In these circumstances, please call us immediately; if we are not available please leave a voice mail, to advise us of these changes and the reason. We will discuss the paperwork process for refund. If we are not advised, you are responsible for the total cost and there will be no refund.


Prices shown include pick-up at your hotel, transportation, local guide services, insurances and all taxes.

They exclude entrance fees to the mentioned monuments, personal expenses, tips, lunch or dinner and non-mentioned items.

Changes to the program might mean an extra cost.

Children younger than 3 are exempt. If you are traveling with kids, please let us know, so that we can arrange their child seats.

Travel insurance

All of our guests are covered by personal accident insurance and by social responsibility insurance.
